I need a break

And I don’t mean (like most of my friends these days) from school. Since… I’m not in school.
I need a break from life. I came back from Mexico & my heart hasn’t been in anything I’ve done since.

Life was so much easier when I woke up to the warm sun and the ocean every day.

Is there such a thing as the winter blues? Because I’m pretty sure I might have come down with a case of them…
Just saying.

There isn’t a whole lot else going on these days. I’ve got a few more Project 365 pictures to share & that’s about it:

Day 31

The picture is the bouquet of flowers my mom prepared for me as a remembrance of my grandmother

On a little side note: When I was on vacation, I read the book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan (yeah, yeah, it’s a younger kids’ book but it was GOOD. Think, Harry Potter with some Greek Mythology). Anyway, I was watching the movie yesterday (in bed!) and I was super disappointed. The movie trailer (and, okay, I’ll admit… the movie poster) had me both really excited to see the adaptation. I usually give movies based on books a chance- this one FAILED. I’m so disappointed.

TELL ME, this movie poster doesn’t totally grab your attention, too?! DON’T BE FOOLED. It’s a trap!

Day 32

I started reading this new book which I’m so far reallyyy enjoying. It’s  biography about Chris O’Dell who got to live this really wicked life back in the 60′s and 70′s in some of the most well known musicians’ entourage. (Think, Beatles, Stones, Bob Dylan…) It’s a really awesome read.

I also looked up what concerts are coming to Montreal & requested a bunch of interviews for CONFRONT. (That’s the little paper sitting conveniently underneath my book with dates poking out). I miss doing interviews & I need to get back into the swing of things. I’m hoping to get a few accepted!
