While deciding what kind of posts to write as re-caps for 2012, I came across this one on Elle’s blog, and I knew I just had to steal it! This year was all about travel for me, and I want to look back on the most memorable places I saw for a long time. What are some memorable places you got to see this year?

Gosh, you did so much traveling this year! I love your Europe pictures so much. It just seems so beautiful and lovely and wonderful and AH, I need to start saving for my own Europe trip.
I think the most memorable place I went to this year was Jamaica, because it was so beautiful and so much fun and even though I was only there for a few hours, I look back on that time with such fondness and happiness.
I was actually SO sad writing this post, realizing how much I got to experience this year and how potentially little I may see in 2013. *sob* but honestly, it’s just a great year for the books and I’m so happy I got to experience all those wonderful places.
I’ve ALWAYS wanted to visit Jamaica. My brother got to go a couple years ago and I was so jealous. It looks gorgeous. I totally understand you on not being there for long but still loving it so much- people make fun of me for only having been in London for less than 48 hours and adoring it so much, but I REALLY did. Sometimes you just feel a strong connection to certain places, I guess!
Ah I like your twist on my post. You did specific places (ie: The Louvre) where as I did cities or towns. Nice write up
You did a lot of traveling! Hopefully you’ll do more in 2013. =)
Wow! I am amazed at all that you saw in the past year. What an amazing year this has been! I bet it was surreal to go through all of those pictures and relive all the experiences you had! I did a decent amount of traveling this year. My best trip was my pacific NW trip for Amber’s wedding. I loved the Sunshine Coast of BC and would love to return to that area some day. I also loved San Francisco and will definitely go back there some day!
I love love love this post. My husband and I are hopefully going to Europe with our toddler later this year, which is a much more daunting trip to plan than for, say, two adults. I’ve avoided thinking about it. Your post, full of beautiful photos of your travel, is making me excited for what this trip could mean to my family. Thank you! (PS – I come to you by way of Ashley at Our Little Apartment, but after looking at your blogroll, I realize we have a lot of blogging pals in common.)
