Five Songs That Changed My Life

mbf

I’ve mentioned a few times that I’ve wanted to start a blog feature; a series of posts that highlights an interest of mine, but one that I want to share with other bloggers right here. I’ve participated in several blog features & have always wanted an original idea of my own, something that could take off and that could bring writers and bloggers together that love something as much as I do.

One day, I was listening to a song and thought to myself “I don’t know where I would be if this song hadn’t come into my life“, and that’s where the idea for this feature came from. I am such a music junkie- I listen to new songs every single day- but what about the ones that have stood the test of time? Good songs are very much like good books. They leave a mark in your life, at a time when you needed that song, or maybe you were just living something wonderful & that was the soundtrack to your good times.

I want to talk about the music that I love most right here, with whoever wants to read it. Whatever you listen to, I want to know it. Even if you think that the music you listen to is silly, I promise I don’t. I want to know what songs you listen to when you wake up in the morning, what’s been on your iPod since you were a teenager, and what songs are imprinted in your mind forever because of a good memory that changed your life. But I only want the five most important ones. =]

I’d like to feature YOU, if you’re interested. If you’d like to share your five songs, leave me a comment below or send me an e-mail at mliss024[at]gmail[dot]com!

    4. Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas
    3. I’ll Cover You from Rent
    2. Cabaret from Cabaret
