My name is Melissa and I’m a 23 year old student living in Montreal. I live for music, travel, books & writing.
I’m currently studying business, and although sometimes I hate it, mostly I love it. It took me a long time to decide what I wanted to study, and I don’t think I could be happier in anything else; I am challenged every single day, I am involved in a University charity organization that I am passionate about, and I am learning how to be successful in one of the many fields I love.
I love to travel, and in 2012 I got to visit some of the most wonderful places I have seen so far in my life. I hope to continue to see the world, one city at a time. I usually write way-too-many details on my blog about my adventures.

I’m a huge book-nerd and you’ll often find me referencing Harry Potter. I have more books than anything else, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. I talk about books around here a lot.

I am a huge music junkie as well, and listen to new music almost every single day of my life. I don’t think I would survive without music in my life!
I’m also the Co-Editor in Chief for an online music magazine based right out of my hometown called CONFRONT. I’ve worked for the magazine for over 4 years now & began as a correspondent. Other than my EIC duties, I regularly interview musicians as they make their way through Montreal, and later write articles about it! I have had the humbling opportunity of sitting down to talk with some of my favorite artists, and I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything. I was interviewed on this blog about my job and my passion for music (a little while back), so feel free to check it out!
