David was very prompt, quick, and ready to get to work! No small talk- just get to the point kind of guy! The only down side of his service is how loud he was about shoving our appliances on the counter around to look for switches.
He got the job done and the dishwasher is working! They were assigned by our warranty company. Worst Appliance repair shop ever - if you are covered under any warranty and they send this company out to you, choose someone else, don't waist your time. Before they stared to repair my washer, I was able to do laundry - I only had a problem with bedding...the machine would beep Ub code. Now, my washer is completely broken.
Conroe Appliance broke my washer and blamed me, sending my warranty company message that my washer is broken due to overloading. Thanks to them, now I'm stuck with broken appliance and no more warranty. I just left a review and wanted to clarify I've been with a fridge since June 27h ...not July 27th. Conroe Appliance Repair was given the repair work by my Home Depot extended warranty for my washing machine.
The normal process with the warranty repair is to schedule an appointment for the technician to come out (usually 3 days or so from the time you make the claim), then they figure out what's wrong and order the parts (another several days to a week), then they schedule a time to come back to repair once parts are received. I knew immediately what was wrong with the washer because it had failed before, and I contacted Conroe Appliance to ask them to order the part ASAP and just come out when it was received.
They were willing to work with me and ordered the part the same day. Within a week, the part was received and the technician came out and installed it. This saved me from being out of a washing machine for an extra week. Fantastic and professional service, and they are very quick to respond to messages and questions. I would definitely use them again. If you want to be ripped off and get totally frustrated, Conroe Appliance dis-Repair is absolutely the company for you.
After six attempts over three months to get my GE refrigerator fixed, a GE repair guy came out and said that the repairs allegedly done by Conroe Appliance were never done at all, and the parts they allegedly replaced were old parts. Run, don't walk, to Sears, GE, your ex-wife's boyfriend that just got out of prison, anyone. Just not Conroe Appliance Repair. The worst ever. American home shield sent Conroe appliance to my resident to fix my all black microwave.
The tech learned that I need a front panel so he ordered the part. When the part arrived it was white. The tech install a white panel on my black microwave. I complained and they said they was not responsible for cosmetics. If they had order the right part I wouldn't have cosmetic problems... Be careful when you use Conroe appliances.. I will report the company to American home shield as well as the better business bureau.
I highly recommend Conroe Appliance if you want someone that doesn't return phone calls and apparently can't locate parts that are easily found online. If you can do without having a washing machine for almost a month then give these guys a call. My five year old LG wall oven stopped heating. Victor and Wayne came to the house on time the day after I called. They had it fixed within an hour.
The price was reasonable, the service was fast and polite. Five stars to these guys. The problem was a blown "fuse" thing in the back of the oven, most likely caused by the fluctuating power we've had as a result of the weather lately. Conroe appliance repair was dispatched by Lowes to fix my Samsung washer. They stopped by and told me I needed a new control panel. The parts arrived, they came by, and in about 30 minutes, my washer was like new again.
Thanks guys. I would recommend them to anyone seeking appliance repair. I received a call from Conroe Appliance Repair about a repair appointment I had made with Sears for warranty work on my washer. The appointment I made with Sears was for Friday, February 12 between 8 and noon. The person calling from Conroe Appliance Repair said the appointment had been moved to February 16th because that was their first available time.
I asked what time that would be for and she said she could not say only somewhere between 8 & 5. So I'm supposed to just wait around all day? Not acceptable. At this point she got huffy and was completely rude to me. I called Sears back and got another appointment with a different company. I can see by the reviews here I am not the only one that has had a rude experience with Conroe Appliance Repair.
The worst customer service I've ever dealt with . Took a day off of work last Monday . After previously leaving two messages for them to call me back which they did not. Monday morning I called them to ask them if they were coming which they's initially said that I was not on the schedule. Then realize their mistake and said that they would be there between eight and 11 which they did not show and I call them at 1 o'clock.
They then told me that someone would call me back from service and at 3 o'clock when no one called me back I called them back. I was put on hold and then hung up on and tried repeatedly to call back and left messages until 5 o'clock no one called me back. I cannot even believe their level of unprofessionalism. we just bought a new house on september 20th and have been waiting for this sorry ass company to come and replace a part for the dish washer , i have got excuse after excuse its been over a month and they call today and say they can only come wed between 3 and 5 well sorry sister but people have jobs and cant take off when its convenient for ur sorry ass company it supposed to be convenient for the customer the PAYING CUSTOMER I HAVE NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE SO INCOMPETENT, i mean they call there self a appliance company but it takes them over a month to fix a dish washer .
They also have a smart ass girl answering the phone when they answer the phone . this is the worst appliance company i have ever had to deal with in all my 45 years i would not recommend this company to anyone, the only reason i was using them is because its who my home warranty company sent out . serious people these people are horrible waster of time It's been 3 months since service was initiated with Conroe Appliance Repair to repair my gas cooktop.
The technicians have been to my house 4 times already, and each time they have failed to complete the service and inform me that they need to order another part. The last time a technician was at my house, he couldn't figure out why the cooktop wouldn't work properly and said "well usually when we replace this part we also replace that other part too, but we didn't order that part this time." About a week later they scheduled a time to come out and finish the repair, and nobody showed up at the time I was told they would be there.
After I went back to work, their office called, and I was informed that a technician was waiting at my house, and that they had pushed my appointment time to later in the day. Thanks for letting me know beforehand! Conroe Appliance Repair has wasted enough of my time of me taking off work so that they can come to my house and tell me that they need to order more parts, or just not show up at the right time.
Conroe Appliance Repair has certainly lost my trust that they can even repair my cooktop in a timely manner, or even show up to my house at the right time. Look for a different appliance repair company, and don't waste your time with Conroe Appliance Repair. All of the consistent negative reviews on here, and on the Better Business Bureau website should give plenty of evidence to convince you to turn away from this company.
If your home warranty company puts you in contact with Conroe Appliance Repair, then demand that your home warranty company find a different repair company for you. Terrible service!!! Has taken over a month to repair a simple dryer!!!!! Will never use this company ever again. Please stay away, plenty of reputable companies out there that will resolve your issues ASAP. If you don't mind waiting and being told your part is on some sort of report/order.
..then this is your company. I've been trying for 4 weeks to get my dryer fixed through Sears. I need a morning appt. since I start with kid pick up at 1230. They do NOT DO morning appts. Calling Sears to find someone different! If you want to leave messages and not get calls back this is the company for you. Unfortunately they are part of our Home Warranty network so we are currently being "held hostage".
Said it would be 7 to 14 days for a part, 18 have gone by. They just simply will not return phone calls. I had to call 4 times jut to schedule an appointment when THEY were supposed to call in 48 hours. Got a call after 21 days, parts is in. Installed doesn't work, was told...... "Must be a bad part", really? Well what if it isn't and something else is wrong, do you even trouble shoot the problem, could you check the power run from the wall to the board? So another 21 days until they tell me they can't fix it I guess.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! these guys are the pits---won't return phone calls or emails---installed freezer compressor in april 2014---only part that freezes is bottom floor-- called to report this--never heard from them again- -it is now october2014--emailed 'um for the hell of it---surprize---nada--- STAY AWAY . not a professional "business"--believe all the negatives posted here. these f**kwits will only make yer blood boil.
.... I've actually dealt with Conroe Appliance Repair through my Home Warranty company... In the last year, my microwave went out and then my dishwasher went out. For the microwave, they sent a couple of repair men out... maybe one was an apprentice. He said my problem with the sensor was fixed, but after he left I went to pop popcorn a few days later and still had the problem. So I called them back.
They sent another man out and he said it was the motherboard and he would have to order a new one. He did tell me that it could take up to 2 weeks. About 2 weeks later, they called me and made a next day appointment. The technician came out and fixed it. This time for good. I haven't had a problem since. Then they came out for the dishwasher. This time they needed to order a part too. 2 weeks later I go a call from them and he came out and installed the part.
It's been good ever since. So overall I give them 4 stars. It took them a couple tries on the microwave, but other than that I had no problems with the service or their communication. They gave me the 2 or 3 hour time window.... but they also actually called me 30 minutes before the tech showed up, so that I could run home from work. They did that on all 3 occasions. I'm going to try them again...
But this time it's not covered under my Home Warranty. So we'll see how it goes and I'll update my review. HORRIBLE service!!!!! Will NEVER use them again. Had to go through them because of my home warranty. Dropped the ball several times, did not order the correct part, and would not return my calls for weeks! I was so put out by their service, I called the home warranty company to have them removed for any future service.
I have never written a review on-line before. I feel that I must warn people about this truly un-professional, run and inept company. From the rude person who answers the phone (always promising to contact me right back but never does) to the repairmen who never fixed my problem this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I even spoke with the Manager who was just as rude and unconcerned with me as every else was.
Rude and unprofessional AND never fixed my dishwasher!!!
